ADORATION & BENEDICTION
Adoration and Benediction are deeply cherished moments in our Roman Catholic worship, offering a profound encounter with Jesus Christ in the Eucharist that nurtures the soul and strengthens faith.
Adoration is a time set aside to honor and worship the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. During Adoration, the consecrated Host—Christ’s true Body and Blood—is displayed in a monstrance, inviting us into an intimate and personal encounter with Jesus. This sacred devotion allows us to pause from the busyness of our lives and enter into a space of stillness and reverence. It is a time for quiet reflection, heartfelt prayer, and spiritual renewal, where one can experience a deep sense of peace and closeness to God.

Benediction is a beautiful blessing where the priest, using the monstrance, bestows a special grace upon the congregation. This involves the priest elevating the Eucharist and invoking God’s blessing upon the people. This solemn moment is not just a symbolic gesture but a powerful act of divine love and protection. As the sacred Host is raised, we are invited to make personal petitions and to be spiritually renewed by Christ’s presence.

Together, Adoration and Benediction offer a serene and uplifting experience that deepens one’s relationship with Christ, providing a space for spiritual growth, healing, and thanksgiving. It is an invitation to enter into the mystery of God’s love and to be transformed by His grace.

Join us for Adoration, Benediction, & Praying the Rosary, Monday’s after the 10:00am Mass.
